With this year’s International Women’s Day focused on inspiring inclusion, we’re speaking to women leaders to find out more about their journey into leadership and how they do just that through their roles as leaders in their organisations, sectors and the wider community. Kembi Coakelin, Associate Consultant in our Local Government team spoke with Marina Robertson, Group Managing Director, Acivico Group and Vice Chair of Waltham Forest Housing Association.
During this inspirational conversation, Marina shares how proud she is of being able to open doors and promote talent in her industry as well as the personal challenge she’s had of finding her voice and struggling with public speaking – knowing how important it is to leadership – and how she’s overcome that. Marina talks about the shift needed to let go of the doing and enabling others so you can do the leading. And, she also shares some of the ways women have built her up and supported her throughout her career.
