Jayne Billam, who recently joined our Education team, will be hosting a workshop at this year’s UHR Conference, which will be held digitally from the 10-12 May.
During the workshop, Searching for HR, Jayne share insights from our recent research with senior higher education leaders, who have provided their views of the positioning and influence of HR across different parts of the sector.
- What have they said senior teams need from HRDs and what appears to be missing?
- What are those conversations that HR is missing from that shape the institution?
- How do they relate to executive search, talent, workforce planning and creating high performing teams?
The workshop will provide a private but open space for participants to have honest reflections and discussions. Jayne will talk about where critical work and decisions appear to take place without HRDs input, offering suggestions and ideas on how this can change, and opening this to discussion with those in attendance. This is an opportunity for like-minded leaders to come together, discuss and find ways of working together to disrupt the normal, putting HR at the centre of disruptive transformation.
Booking is now open for the UHR Conference via their website (https://www.uhr.ac.uk/uhr-2022/) and you will be able to select to attend Jayne’s workshop nearer to the time of the conference.
If you’d like to discuss Jayne’s research in more details, or would like a conversation more generally about your current priorities and challenges and how Jayne can support and advice, please contact here at jayne.billam@www.gatenbysanderson.com.
