We’re a leading housing association driven by our purpose to open doors to better lives for our customers. We manage over 21,000 homes for affordable rent and shared ownership across Kent, Essex, Sussex and London, and we’re proud of the great homes and communities we’ve helped to build. Through our social value arm, we work within our communities to tackle isolation, improve employability  and create thriving places that people love to live in. And as one of the pioneers of shared ownership, we’ve also given thousands of households a boost into home ownership.

Our shared commitment and goals are shaped by our Corporate Strategy which sets out how we’ll deliver a great customer experience, create pride in our homes and places, and grow our new homes and communities… all with a pioneering approach that puts customers at its heart. Our new CEO will oversee the continued delivery of our 5 year strategy. You’ll be an impactful and visible leader, driving Moat forward to achieve excellence in all we do. A proven social housing Chief Executive, our next leader must understand the regulatory landscape we’re delivering in. You’ll use your wealth of experience to drive excellent outcomes for customers and maintain our long-held track record as a well-managed, financially robust business. We’re looking for a leader who shares our values and can work with our Board and senior colleagues to translate them into day-to-day practices that benefit our customers, communities, and colleagues.  Just as importantly, you’ll be able to inspire others and create an environment where our colleagues and communities can thrive.

There’s so much happening behind the scenes, and it’s all powered by our people. Our colleagues work collaboratively to fulfil our social purpose and provide a truly customer-focused service. Our people's passion for Moat, the work we do, and our friendly, open-door culture has earned us a spot as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2023, and we continue to make strides in developing our people and ensuring they love where they work.
