We are the Haringey GP Federation, an innovative and ambitious organisation working with 34 member practices across seven primary care networks in the diverse and vibrant borough of Haringey in north London.

Our vision is to support the people of Haringey to be healthier and happier. We do this by strengthening, innovating, and advocating for strong and sustainable General Practice in Haringey as well as by delivering services at scale and in partnership with health, social care and the voluntary sector. We are a people-centred and values-driven organisation which places our patients, practices and people at the centre of a happy, healthy, inclusive Haringey.  Our values are core to who we are and how we work.

We are proud of all that we have achieved since our inception in 2016.  From hosting and managing the Training Hub for North Central London and delivery of specific training for practice and primary care staff, to the focussed work we do to tackle health inequalities and promote inclusion within the communities we serve, our team has earned a strong reputation for providing best practice primary care services at scale and has repeatedly won external recommendation and commendation for the work we do.

As the external context within which we operate evolves through new political leadership and a greater focus on integration and collaboration, we are positive about the opportunities there are ahead to develop new services and support our communities in ever more innovative and responsive ways.  We have an important role to play as a partner within the NCL ICS and a responsibility to amplify the voice of primary care within this context while positioning ourselves as a collaborative and willing partner.  To that end, our commitment to building a sustainable workforce that is fully equipped and motivated for our work; and to supporting and representing our member practices at an individual and locality level has never been greater.

Against this backdrop, we are seeking to appoint a Chief Executive who can lead us in the next phase of our development and take forward our successful organisation to its next level in a way which ensures a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the membership.  The appointed individual will play a key role in developing further the relationship with the seven Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and with wider partners within the ICS whilst also providing robust, compassionate and inclusive leadership to our workforce.

Alongside a track record of operating at board level within an organisation of comparable scale and a strategic understanding of the health and social care system (including Primary Care), the successful individual will bring passion, creativity and personal values which align to our own.  Above all else, we are seeking an individual committed to supporting the people of Haringey to be healthier and happier.
