At the Government Property Agency, we create great places work to work for the Civil Service. As the largest property holder in government, we lead a range of transformation programmes to fit the estate for the future, simultaneously operating modern and cost-effective service solutions. At GPA, our priorities go hand-in-hand with those of HM Government – we are halving carbon emissions and delivering value for taxpayers through the Government Hubs and Whitehall Campus Programme.

As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team within the Workplace Services Directorate, you will lead a range of strategic partner relationships externally and a culture of continuous innovation internally. In this team, your vision for workplace strategy and best practice, your customer focus and your technical excellence will meet to help us progress our mission and goals across both existing front-line services and the future of workplace and workspace. You will need to be comfortable balancing the leadership of future possibility and innovation with the requirements of now, ensuring that the customers in our 1000-strong portfolio receive a responsive and agile service.

We are looking for an ambitious, solutions-focused leader of workplace services to join us in this exciting role. If you hold a professional qualification in facilities management and have led teams to meet customer needs in complex, fast-paced, multi-client environments, we want to hear from you. Given the scale and breadth of our portfolio, it is essential that you have operated across at scale and that you have a track record of delivering significant change programmes to successful completion. Our ability to mature and anticipate Civil Service needs relies on leaders who can build capability in others and inspire high performance and continuous improvement through collaboration.
