Alpha is an award-winning specialist provider of housing for older people working across the north of England. We provide community based sheltered housing, extra care housing and support services across 11 local authorities. Owning and managing 960 apartments let on social or affordable rents, we have an ambitious strategy for growth over the next five years.

As a leader in the field of older persons' housing, Alpha is known for our top-quartile customer satisfaction ratings, financial stability, and our dedicated, high-performing team. We provide more than just homes - we create vibrant communities that support independence and quality of life for our residents.

As our new Chief Executive Officer, you will provide inspirational strategic leadership, along with the vision to ensure we deliver our key objectives and corporate strategy. Leading our ambitious growth agenda, you will drive a culture of high performance whilst ensuring we meet our governance requirements.

This is an exciting time to join us as we grow through acquisitions and new developments. As we become an actively regulated landlord, you will play a key role in managing external stakeholders such as the RSH, Homes England and Local Authorities, as well as our key internal stakeholders including Board Members, colleagues and residents.

We are looking for a strategic leader with the passion and vision to continue driving our growth agenda. As either an established or aspiring CEO, you will share our values and be dedicated to improving the lives of our residents and communities. Most importantly, you will ensure that we realise our many ambitions and deliver the best possible outcomes for our residents.

Experience of a social housing provider is highly desirable, although you may instead bring significant transferable skills from a comparable sector. The role requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, along with a motivational leadership style which inspires a culture of continuous improvement, empowerment and the delivery of high-quality services. The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on leadership is crucial.

Applications are welcomed from candidates of all backgrounds. Alpha celebrates the rich diversity of its residents and colleagues and is committed to an inclusive and empowering environment for all.
