About the role

We’re seeking an outstanding, experienced leader to join our Executive Team as Director of Children’s Health and Care. This is an essential role for St Elizabeth’s, leading the successful implementation of our services, which specialise in providing high-quality residential care, nursing, and therapy to children and young people with epilepsy and other complex needs.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent knowledge of Ofsted and CQC frameworks to lead a well-established multi-disciplinary team of professionals across our seven children’s homes and a health agency (nursing and therapy). You will ensure the efficient delivery and continuous improvement of the services, ensuring best practice and compliance with relevant legislation.

As the Director of Children's Health and Care, you will provide strategic leadership across our children's services, maintain high standards of care practice and compliance across regulatory frameworks of Ofsted and CQC and foster an inclusive and collaborative culture You will be a key advocate for the charity, building impactful external relationships. You will encourage innovation, continuous improvement and best practices to develop our children's service as a centre of excellence.

This role will usually work on site Monday to Friday but will require flexibility to meet service needs.
