Are you an experienced Board leader with a passion for the transformative power of a healthy lifestyle in disease management and prevention? Overcoming MS is seeking an exceptional individual to Chair its Board, someone who is committed to patient-centred care and empowering individuals to take charge of their health.

Overcoming MS is the world’s leading multiple sclerosis healthy lifestyle charity. We are here to support the three million people living with MS globally, along with their families and friends.

As Chair, you will bring strategic vision, creativity, and sound judgement to help Overcoming MS increase its impact and visibility. Interest and the evidence behind lifestyle change is accelerating at pace, and we must refine our strategic plans to fully embrace our vital role in the sector.

An experienced Chair, Non-Executive Director, or Trustee, you will have a strong understanding of governance principles and a personal commitment to equality, equity, diversity, and inclusion. You will actively contribute to and lead Board discussions while demonstrating financial acumen, professional integrity, and excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

You will serve as an ambassador for Overcoming MS, bringing enthusiasm and energy in promoting the charity’s best interest, championing key priorities for the organisation and along with the Trustees on the Board, ensure that the Chief Executive and Executive team are supported effectively.

This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a dynamic, mission-driven charity. We have invested in research and information expertise, expanded our engagement with UK healthcare professionals, and launched exciting pilot partnerships. There are difficult conversations to be had, but the opportunity is both realistic and substantial.

If you have the passion and ambition to shape our future and drive change for people with MS, we would love to hear from you.
