Mazvita Horton, Head of Chief Executive Office at the Canal & River Trust spoke to Emily Nevins, Partner in our Not for Profit practice, about how she successfully followed her commitment and passion for the environment into a career and navigated the challenges as a Black woman leader as she rose to the top.
Mazvita talks about how being adaptive and resilient helped her reach her goal, how prevalent imposter syndrome is (even at the top) the importance of a support network plus the best she has received as a leader: “to leave an aftertaste”.
