Fiona Wansborough

Fiona specialises in executive and non-executive senior leadership roles for Not for Profit clients, bringing over 20 years of experience in search, primarily focusing on the Global Development and Humanitarian sectors, with a sound knowledge and expertise of delivering searches with equity, diversity, and inclusion at their core.

Previously, Fiona built and led a globally dispersed executive search team working with philanthropic foundations, INGOs and other non-profits.  Fiona’s track record includes CEO and Executive team appointments for both established organisations and start-ups in Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, and the UK.  Fiona also brings client-side insight, having led recruitment at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), a Geneva-based foundation with a worldwide presence working to end malnutrition.

Fiona has experience and knowledge across a range of thematic areas including Programmes, Evidence Measurement and Evaluation, Communications, Policy and Advocacy, and Resource Mobilisation.  Fiona has a deep interest in the sector and is passionate about finding the right people to both drive and be part of delivering sustainable impact in the Global South.

Fiona has an MSc in International Human Resources and is Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) qualified.

Fiona enjoys trail running in all weather and setting herself challenges to help raise money for causes in her local community.
