Graduating from Cambridge, and initially working at strategic leadership level in education, Rebekah blends creative problem-solving, academic rigour and sector insight into her recruitment style.

Before moving to Executive Search, Rebekah spent nearly a decade working in leadership for the Royal Marines Band Service, leading multidisciplinary high-performing teams across multiple projects internationally.  Rebekah led a 200% growth in recruitment and retention and devised and led the programme for its delivery. During this time, Rebekah also founded and led an arts-based not-for-profit organisation which reached over 150 people weekly. Fostering creative initiatives and delivering innovative programming, Rebekah devised a thriving operating model, increased turnover to £500k in 2 years, created a governance structure, and secured 300% over target in fundraising and sponsorship from organisations such as BaByliss, all in its first 2 years.  They have gained national recognition, appeared on television and partnered with the ENO, Royal Opera and Ballet and Trinity Laban.

During her career in recruitment, Rebekah has placed leaders at national organisations including English Heritage, Historic England and Scottish Ballet as well as charities with significant reach, such as Longborough Festival Opera, Bath Preservation Trust and Beamish Museum. Rebekah believes that organisational sustainability is powered by strong governance and an astute and informed strategic leadership which engages with all communities. With 20 years leadership which has spanned the Arts, Heritage, Culture, Education and Military sectors, Rebekah combines innovative, sector specific expert-led executive search with her broader experience. Rebekah is refreshing in her approach to search and takes immense pride in cultivating lasting and meaningful client and candidate relationships.

 

Interesting Fact

Rebekah began life training as a professional singer, studying with world-renowned opera singer Elizabeth Schwarzkopf.  Rebekah also plays harp and piano.
